Because I forgot to post yesterday, here's my Exercise update:

Yesterday I did my exercise quite late and I did the usual:

3 miles on the bike in 10 minutes.
20 push-ups
20 sit-ups
20 tricep bench presses
The upper body regime

I did it after dinner, and then had a shower and lazed around in my pyjamas, which was nice. That's what I'm going to do tonight, so this entry will be edited later to include the time for the 3 miles.


3 miles on the bike in 11 minutes 30 seconds.
20 push-ups
20 sit-ups
20 tricep bench presses

Okay, so today was my second day of exercising. Because I'm ambitious, I added some more upper body toning exercises to my 'regime'.

3 miles in 8 mins 44 secs (cutting a minute off my time made me exhausted!)
20 sit-ups (I'd not been doing theses properly yesterday, which meant that today they nearly killed me when I did them properly!)
20 push-ups
20 tricep bench presses

My extra upper body regime can be found here. I did them all apart from the push-ups, since I'd already done them.

Afterwards I took Chandler out for a long walk and a play in the park for a warm down.

Okay, so after having returned to the UK and put on half a stone (that's 7 lbs/3.18 kgs for the non-British people) I am determined to lose that weight and maybe a little more. With that in mind, I actually started exercising on the exercise bike we've got in the house a couple of weeks ago, but then the floorboards got taken up and fixed, so that put the kibosh on the exercise for a few weeks (also, I don't do running!).

But now, I've started again, and added some more exercises because [livejournal.com profile] loriel_eris, [livejournal.com profile] kyizi, another friend of mine, Sam, and I are going to start rock climbing soon, so I need to build up my upper body strength.

So begins a daily update of my exercise regime (you all can ignore this if you wish, it's more for my benefit than anyone else's!).

I cycled 3 miles in 9 mins 44 seconds.
Did 20 sit-ups, 20 push-ups, and 20 tricep bench dips.
