Tell me what you want me to take a picture of that you were always curious about. Be it my dvd collection, my bed (you pervert!), my favourite cookies, my shoes...whatever. Ask me and I may indulge.

Comment and I will give you 3 interests on your list and 3 icons for you to explain.

[livejournal.com profile] hellokimberly's choices:

01. david anders

The young actor who played the British terrorist, Mr Julian Sark, in Alias. Aside from being gorgeous, he's also very talented, and probably not appreciated enough. It took a while before I realised he wasn't British! By far the best character in Alias! How can I not like him?!

02. marshall flinkman

Marshall Flinkman is the lovable tech geek in Alias. He's short, never stops talking, is amazingly brilliant, and is forever saving the day with his quick thinking. I want a cute, huggable Marshall in my life! Also, he uses the word: 'swank'. *g*

03. sarky

It's been so long since I inputted my interests I can't actually remember for sure what 'sarky' is! Oh, wait, yes! It is basically anything to do with Sark (see above description of David Anders) in Alias. Used in the context: I'm going to watch 'The Passage' for some Sarky goodness. Pretty much the same context as 'chocolatey'! *g*

This comes from my obsession with Draco/Ginny-ness. Basically, a lot of fic that I've read involves Ginny keeping Draco in line by him considering what she would think of him. She is the only person who he cares about (obviously, something's happened to his parents). I made this icon for when I'd done something that someone I liked would want to kill me for (metaphorically, obviously!). *g*

Well, this I made because I was wanting to post a lot of book reviews and I figured I needed a book icon. The writing 'read me' is what I hear books saying before I've opened them! They're crying out 'read me!' at the top of their little paper lungs! *g* The stack pretty much epitomises my bedside table, although sadly they're not as old as that! Books are my life! I could not live without books! I'm still not happy about the writing on this icon, though.

[livejournal.com profile] kyizi made this one for me. The guy on the left is David Anders (see above) and the guy on the right is Greg Grunberg (from Alias and also now he's in Heroes). I realise that it looks as though they're kissing, but basically, their characters are my favourites from Alias (although I love Marshall, I love Weiss (Greg Grunberg's character) more! He's like a teddy bear!). So this icon are my two favourite Alias actors messing around!

Okay, snurched from [livejournal.com profile] kyizi, just because I've done a lot of the cool things on this list! *g* Boring, I know, but I don't have the energy to actually compose a decent post at the moment!

[livejournal.com profile] loriel_eris again. This meme was also on the CD that [livejournal.com profile] heliona sent me. She had it on the laptop from when she did it back in May/June. And just because she had nothing better to do (yeah, right!) she did it again in August before putting it on CD, just so that you could all see the difference. Tho, I'm quite sure that her name is still the same... *g*

Anyway, here you go. Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] slowfox.

Writing Meme )

Am very tired now, so am going to bed. Managed to locate my house-elf (she'd hidden away under the kitchen table) and my bed is lovely and toasty now.

If there is one person you can't stop thinking about, post this same exact sentence in your journal.

[Found in [livejournal.com profile] nimoloth's journal.]

Do I have to post it twice if there are two people?
heliona: (Default)
Go to my userpics and tell me which one you like best, and why. :) Then post this in your journal to find out which of your pictures is my favourite.

Okay, first of all, for those of you that might be interested, I'm hoping to start Chapter 14 of Wood & Wild tonight, fingers crossed. It's another complicated chapter to write, so I don't know how long it will take me, though.

And now, as you will know if you read yesterday's entry, I went to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind yesterday. Here's my spoilery-ish review )

Well, I watched the beginning of Stargate SG-1 Season 3 last night. Managed the first 3 episodes before falling asleep.

I think [livejournal.com profile] loriel_eris, who's sitting beside me, is about to post a meme, so I might attach one to the end of this post, because I'm bored, and don't want to do any work! Okay, she's not, but here it is anyway:

Grr! Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] corngirl_jo mentioning Due South, I've been craving it over the weekend. This led to a search on the Internet for DVDs, and lo and behold, Season 1 and 2 have been released earlier this year. Naturally, I had to buy them. For some unknown reason, Season 3 has been delayed, so I don't know when I'm going to get that.

And Season 1 isn't in stock, so that's awaiting stock, which means I could be waiting *ages*. It took forever for The Faculty to arrive. Season 2 is ready for dispatch, so I'll be getting that in the next couple of days! It's a good job I've seen them all before, otherwise I'd be watching them in the wrong order!

In other, DVD-related news, I am now in the possession of Season 3 Stargate SG-1, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] loriel_eris. Huzzah!

Also, no studying tonight, as am going to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with [livejournal.com profile] kyizi tonight - she managed to get preview tickets. Will also be going to see Hidalgo sometime this week. Although, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] kyizi's suspiciously non-responsive reply to my comment that my flatmate thought it might end badly, ie: the horse may die, I have a feeling that I'm going to bawl my eyes out at it! Or else, I'm going to be expecting the horse to drop dead at any moment! *g* The only thing that will keep me going is the fact that Viggo bought it, so technically it's not dead. That's assuming, of course, that it does die! It may not! And I don't want anyone to let me know!

RE: the music. I *swear* that this is just a coincidence!

Snerched from [livejournal.com profile] loriel_eris:

I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want. Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything.
