Okay, so this is going to be the fastest and most boring update I've ever posted, but yes, I am still here.

I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon. I do not have time to go into my review now, but I do have one thing to say:

ORLANDO BLOOM, WET, WITH LONG HAIR AND AN EARRING!!!!!!

OMFG!!! Wow!!! *drool*

He was so hot in that film. I keep forgetting my OB lust, but then I watch another one of his films and it all comes back to me. *g*

So, thanks to Moonbiter, I have seen the trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean III; At World's End. I am now spreading the Johnny & Orlando love.

Well, I watched PotC with the commentary of Keira Knightley and Jack Davenport, which, if you haven't seen it, I would recommend it. Keira and Jack are so funny. Keira is unbelievably hyper and normal. I know that sounds a little odd, but she sounds just like the rest of us.

And, I have more news from the lovely Metro. This time is about Orlando Bloom taking a break )

Well, it's our ceilidh tonight, and surprisingly, almost all the tickets have been sold. I was quite amazed when I found that out, so things might be looking up on that score.

On a much more depressing note, I've discovered that I have a grand total of £50 to last me until my next loan cheque, which isn't due until the 12th January. Eek! I've clearly been spending too much money on DVDs. *shame-faced* But they're all so pretty!

And Christmas/birthday presents. Gah! I've not even bought all mine yet. Everyone is just going to have to wait until the January sales.

Yes, I've got the PotC DVD and have now seen almost all the extras on it. [livejournal.com profile] kyizi and I watched the bloopers and actually couldn't breathe at the end of it because we were laughing so much. I started watching the movie with the Johnny Depp commentary, but as it was almost 1 in the morning and I had to be up at 8, I decided to leave it. What I heard was really funny though.

The diary of a ship was really interesting, since I'd done almost the exact same trip, except the other way (Caribbean to Canada) in a slightly smaller boat and fortunately without the horrendous weather. It was almost deja-vu-like watching that Diary!

Oh, and in the Glasgow Metro today, a little note on how my Billy's been looking after darling Elijah. )

In other news, my parents are coming to visit this Friday, which is when my ceilidh is, so Friday's going to be very hectic!

I've now watched all of the discs of TT:Extended, and whilst I thought they were good, I didn't like them as much as the FOTR ones. Although how they made Gollum and the work Andy Serkis put into him really amazed me. I mean, it amazed me every time I saw the film on the big screen, but watching the documentaries really drove things home.

I'm not going to harp on about it, since I know some of you haven't actually seen them yet, but they're well worth watching, of course. *g*

And PotC comes out next week! Woohoo! Another lovely, strokable DVD to look forward to. (Although my bank balance isn't appreciating it as much as I am!)
