New acquisitions.
Feb. 17th, 2007 09:30 pmSo, thanks to Battlestar Galactica and specifically, Starbuck, I was reminded that I like wearing a thumb ring, but I don't actually have a ring that either looks good or doesn't leave ghastly green marks all over my thumb.
Thanks to Supernatural and a random discussion I came across on the internet about Jensen/Dean wearing a ring, I was introduced to the idea of spinner rings (where the centre part of the ring spins round, great for people who fiddle!). I'd never heard of them before.
Now, I've never ventured onto Ebay before, but I did once I'd decided I wanted a spinner ring for my thumb, preferably with a Celtic design. I did find one, but I decided to wait before buying it, because of my lack of income. Once my willpower vanished, I went back to Ebay to find that the Celtic one had disappeared, but I found another one that was really nice, and the seller was in England. The ring cost me £10, including postage and packing.
Here's what it looks like:

It looks better in real life, and it fits perfectly. I ordered it on Wednesday afternoon and I got it on Friday morning. It's great, I'm constantly fiddling with it! :)
