Question for y'all

Have any of you seen the series Supernatural? I know it stars Jensen Ackles (of Dark Angel fame) and Jared Padalecki (of Gilmore Girls fame) as brothers and thought it might sound interesting. So does anyone know anything about it?

I've seen some episodes, yeah. It's not the best written/plotted show ever but many people find it engaging, because there are pretty men and a lot of brother/brother shipping going on. BtVS and Angel actors turn up occasionally as well (e.g. Amy Acker, Julie Benz). It's mostly urban legends, demons, ghosts, that sort of thing, but it's the back-story and family dynamic that usually gets people sucked in.

Do you know if it's on satelitte/digital tv? The people I'm staying with are convinced that they've seen a few episodes.

Yup. Fandoms like the slash a lot, I guess. It was on ITV3 I think, not on currently, but the DVDs are out and the second series is probably starting in the new year.

Yeah, I'm trying to convince my friends to buy me the US version for my birthday! (The UK version has no (yes, that's right, none at all!) extra features on it, whilst the US version is chocked full of them! Grr! Fortunately my DVD player is multi-region.)

I don't mind slash, I'm not really into myself, but most of the time I can see some justification for it. However, brother/brother is just plain WRONG! I don't care how pretty they both are! *shudder*
