Grrr!

Okay, I bought a domain name from doteasy yesterday, and I managed to FTP an index page up, but the Internet is claiming that my website, which is www.heliona.com, by the way, doesn't exist! I'm getting very peeved with it!

On another note (about which I'm annoyed), I can't find anywhere to download either the Troy trailer or the Extra interview with Daniel and Emma. These stupid uni computers don't have Real Player, and even if they did, they don't have sound cards!

On a slightly more cheerful note, I have plans for a new layout for livejournal. I don't know when it's going to go up, since I've already got another planned, which will probably be unveiled next week, but it's a Draco one. I know other people are doing Draco ones, which will probably lead me to delay putting mine up, once it's done. It does mean I get to do lots of screencaps, though!

I'd better go and do some work now. Grr!

Don't worry that you're domain is not showing, it can take up to a couple of days for all the DNS servers around the world to pick up the new address.


For example, I can see the temp page you've put up. Give it a day and it should work for you too. :)

Thanks, Emma. I can't even see the temp page, but it's gratifying to know that someone can see it!

At least it gives me the weekend to design my splash page. And I'm also thinking about doing a little redesign to my whole layout too (yes, I'm a glutton for punishment!).
