Help!! MP3 player

Hi all!
Well, I got my mp3 player: an Aigo A215 1Gb. It's very swish. But I have a problem with it.
I plugged it into my computer and, following the instructions, started to copy songs onto it using Windows Media Player. I had a very long playlist to copy across - after all, the mp3 player takes 1 Gb of music. About halfway down the list, it started coming up with an error message: The directory or file cannot be created.
Now, I've rebooted my computer twice, and it's not made the blindest bit of difference. It's not like the songs aren't there, because I can play them no problem. There's tonnes of room on my mp3 player, so that's not it. I've searched the internet, and someone else has had this problem. The solution suggested was to reboot the computer - see above about it not working.
Any suggestions? I've got some songs on the player (who I've decided to call Milo, btw) but not all the ones I want.
Thanks.
ETA: I managed to get it working. I had to reformat the player. I guess I was too tired to think of that last night! But it's full! Hurrah!
