Well, Blu-tak saved my life! (It's a kind of sticky stuff that is used to ... you know what, here's a Wikipedia link to an explanation!) I knew once I got home I could super-glue it back on.
But I can tell you that I won't be wearing heels again this week! My left foot aches a bit now because I was walking strangely to make sure I didn't keel over and break an ankle!
