New icons!!

Yay! I'm in the process of updating some icons, because I keep wanting an icon for cooking posts, for instance, and all I have is my not-very-nice chocolate muffin icon (it's not very nice because I made it using LJ, as opposed to actually manipping it, which I suppose I'll get round to at some point!). So anyway, here are a few new ones:




This one is too small, I know. You can't read the writing! But it was past midnight when I got it to this stage, and I couldn't face making the writing bigger at that point! I'll work on it more later this week. Here is the cartoon it is based on.

Paella is one of my favourite foods. I've never cooked it. I cooked Cuban paella once, otherwise inventively known as 'arroz con pollo' (that's 'rice with chicken' for those of you who don't speak Spanish).




I post so much about films that I realised that I needed an icon dedicated to films in general, as opposed to specific films.




My Sleep Tight icon just didn't convey the right amount of tiredness, and who can resist this photo of a husky puppy?!




Again, I post quite a bit about writing in general, as well as fanfiction, so a writing icon was needed. (This was also inspired by various people on my LJ having great writing icons!)




This is my 'friends' icon. I think I had it up a wee while ago, but I had to take it down to put others up! I like it so much, it had to make a return!

In other news, my right ear has suddenly started hurting. It's like someone stabbing my earhole with a pin! It's not constant either, it comes and goes. Argh!

:p Hee, sorry, couldn't resist. Hope your ear pain goes away. I'm pretty miserable atm, so it's fairly safe to say I sympathise. These tablets are making me feel like crap, so much so that I stopped taking them today...only to come to the conclusion that I need to :-/

Our climbing ranks are getting decimated! I hope it's not catching!

She fell inline skating on Friday. adren_junk skinned knees and elbows as well. Apparently they and nimoloth and ellielabelle were skating over speed bumps -> not a good idea!

jenjemeer had to have surgery on Saturday. They put pins in her wrist!

I know. I mean, having a broken wrist at any time (and I think it's her right one and she's right-handed so that's even worse!) isn't good, but she's just started climbing and is probably going to be out of it for a couple of months (I haven't spoken to her, but I'm going by how long my cousin's been told his hand will take to heal (he broke some bone in his hand playing football. *sigh* Injuries are going around!).
