Blah again

Yes, I'm bored. I've just finished going over loriel_eris's CV for her, and changing a few things, and now I have to hang around for an hour, doing nothing. Don't you hate it when you're on the Internet and you really can't be bothered doing anything, but as soon as you get home, you can think of all sorts of things you could have done.

What's more, I can't even go and download any fic, since I don't have Frankie with me. Grr!

Hmm, speaking of fic, I'm in the middle of reading Tamora Pierce books, so I might go and see if I can find any decent fanfic.

Am also hoping to have a new layout for my Friends page for tomorrow. I've got some ideas floating about in my head, I've just got to find time to do something about them tonight, in between doing the ironing and watching ER!

Okay, so there isn't a *single* good Tamora Pierce fanfic on fanfiction.net. Why does this not surprise me? And of course, everything that is up there pretty much spoils th last series that I'm reading! I'm living in a fantasy where Kel ends up with Neal (I don't actually know if she does or not, it's a little hard to tell from the summaries, but some people think she ends up with someone called Dom, who I don't even know!). Grr! It'll be just like the other series, where I wanted Alanna to end up with Jon, but knew that she wouldn't because I'd read the series after (not knowing there was a series before) and knew that she ended up with George. Grr!

Thanks for doing the CV. by the time I got to 5 o'clock this afternoon I was completely beat... Managed to get everything in the envelope and posted it in internal mail, so hopefully they'll get it on Fri. (If I was feeling very enthusiastic, I'd hope for tomorrow.)

watching ER!

I'd forgotten about it... Did you know that that was going to happen?! (Obviously I haven't seen it, but I did read the TV guide.) If I can get rid of the feelings of guilt (lab projects and studying) then I might watch an ER tonight.

Forgotten about what? I knew that there was an incident with a helicopter but other than that, not really. So much happens in that episode, though, it's amazing!

Lynne didn't know either, and she's been watching more tv than me. Also, she pays more attention to the tv guide than I do. (It's the Radio Times, in case you were wondering.) There's nothing in the Radio Times about what happens, anyway.

It was funny, because we were watching, and Lynne said something jokingly, and then it happened! We were quite stunned at the coicidence! *g*

Anyways, go and watch some ER! It's good for the soul!

Forgotten about what?

That was ER was on! I haven't a clue about the helicopter, just that someone was supposed to die... Knowing the TV Guide the probably got it completely wrong, most likely on purpose so as to draw in a huge number of viewers/sensationalise.

Anyways, go and watch some ER! It's good for the soul!

I know, but I never got the chance on Wed night, and last night, when I felt like sitting down to watch ER, I couldn't since I had the two video recorders hooked up to copy ER for [Unknown site tag]...
