I've read DV17 and posted a review (the first time I think I've ever reviewed anything - you'll see why, I tend to get lyrical and wax on!). I've included it here (there aren't any spoilers, but I'm putting it behind a cut anyway), because it's such a momentous event (both the Trilogy ending and me reviewing) that I want it recorded somewhere!

Well, I think this might be the first time I've actually reviewed your fic, for which I'm terribly sorry!

The Draco Trilogy has been a benchmark in Harry Potter Fanfiction for so long, and waiting for the next installment has been part of my fanfic life online that it seems weird to no longer have that in my future!

Saying that, I find it awesome that you managed to keep updating it to such a high standard of writing, and you never let any plotline fall away - everything was tidied away in the end (which unfortunately doesn't happen all that much). As a fanfic writer of what seems to be turning into an epic, you've been, and will continue to be, an inspiration. The way you turned Rowling's characters into your own (and frankly made them, in my opinion, considerably more interesting, and human) was truly talented.

The ending was fabulous - never before have I been so pleased with the end of a story. The hope for the future that all the characters have is really, well, I can't think of the word for it, but it makes me smile.

Your writing has been unbeatable in fanfiction circles, and I've no doubt that the same will be true in your original fiction - which I await with bated breath.

Thank you for being a beacon of light in a sea of mediocre fanfic - there are few writers out there who can stand side by side with you.
