Yes, I managed to upload the right one, now!

And, I think it looks good, at least on 800x600, which is what these uni computers are. You'll have to let me know if it looks really stupid on 1024x768, and if so, how I can centre the stupid thing using over-rides!

[livejournal.com profile] notasalmon couldn't show me how to use over-rides, I ended up sort of snitching the html from one of [livejournal.com profile] ignited's livejournal layouts, and then changing it so it would fit into the over-ride thing!

Still, I'm learning how to change the colours now!

[livejournal.com profile] kyizi and I went to the cinema last night and saw We were just intending to go and see The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but it was on at 20:40 and we'd arrived at the cinema at 17:30, so we thought we'd pop in a see another film first. We decided to go and see The Medallion, primarily because all the other films that were at reasonable times were weepy's and we weren't in the mood to cry. If you haven't seen it, I wouldn't recommend it! It's a Jackie Chan film (although I must admit that some Jackie Chan films can be good, like the Rush Hours, and the Shanghai ones, and also The Tuxedo (grr, Jason Isaacs!)) but this was so cheesy it was unbelievable!

Also, Lee Evans was in it, and I'm not a big fan of his, anyway. Admittedly, he did get better as the film went on, but still. The only saving grace was the fact that John Rhys-Davies was in it! Woohoo! For about five minutes, tops.

Today, I brought my laptop into uni, because I had the image of the tickets that we're selling for our ceilidh at the beginning of December on it. Also, I had it as layers in Photoshop, which was a good job, since I had to change stuff on it. I have to say, I felt really strange with my laptop out in the Common Room!

It also meant that I could upload my new layout, since I hadn't put it on Frankie (my USB drive).

I've also updated my website, which is now nearly working properly, I do believe. Basically, at the moment, it's just sitting there, looking pretty, but fingers crossed, soon there'll actually be stuff on it! :D

Yes, Lee Evans was cringe worthy. I mean I knew he'd be in it, but what I thought it'd be was so much *better* than what it actually was. It really sucked. I mean there were some really funny bits and JRD was amusing (Arturo - that's who he was in it! ...then again, I'll always think of him as the loveable Professor!). Lee Evans did improse I have to say, Hel's definately right about that, but definately wouldn't waste your time in the cinema (unless you get in for free like us!). You want to see it, wait for the video.

I actually fell asleep through a lot of LXG! But I'd seen most of it before anyway. I only wanted to ogle Stuart Townsend anyway! Grrr! ;-p
