dduane just posted this link, and I thought of you, eretria! It's awesome. Why hasn't someone thought of this before? (Or maybe they have and I just haven't discovered it!)
And I don't have a pot for one, which would be really a bit too pretentious for uni, and that's saying something, given that jakeybob has a porcelain used teabag holder.
Yes, very pretty. It just really depends on how much space the leaves have in it - the one reason I keep preaching to people not to use tea eggs or most infusers is that most of the time, they're too small. Tea-leaves need room to expand while steeping and infusing in order to bring out their full flavour.
This is true. Obviously the best thing is to make your tea in a pot, and then use a cute little sieve to sift the leaves out when you pour your tea. I always think it's a waste of time to use a teapot when there's only one of you, though, because you'd have to drink four cups of tea in quick succession to not waste them. Although I suppose you could get a small, one cup teapot.
That's what I thought. I'm not sure how big it is, though. As eretria said, you need some space for your tea leaves to move around and infuse properly. But it looks groovy, doesn't it?!
