So, to make my 'weird' day (see previous post) into a truly shitty day, I've broken the heel on my left shoe. To compound matters, my housemate who sometimes gives me a lift home is working a late shift tonight, so that means she won't be able to give me lift!
Thus meaning I shall have to walk down half of Glasgow, (or should I say 'hobble down half of Glasgow') to catch my train, and then walk for another ten minutes once I get off the train at the other end! When I say ten minutes, that's ten minutes with normal, unbroken shoes, so heaven knows how long it will take me to walk today!
Argh!!! Grrrr!
Is this some kind of belated Friday the 13th revenge because I read a Bones fanfic about Friday the 13th and because I didn't have any bad luck that day?!! Well, if it is, I'm not impressed! Do you hear me, Mr Friday-the-13th-Curse-man? Not funny!!!
My mood theme photo is exactly how I feel right now.

Date: 2007-04-16 06:06 pm (UTC)Well, Blu-tak saved my life! (It's a kind of sticky stuff that is used to ... you know what, here's a Wikipedia link to an explanation!) I knew once I got home I could super-glue it back on.
But I can tell you that I won't be wearing heels again this week! My left foot aches a bit now because I was walking strangely to make sure I didn't keel over and break an ankle!
